"IMAGINE NOT WATCHING THE XCOM OFF-SEASON" ― The Chat when someone asks what happened during the XCOM Off-SeasonXCOM is a game featured in several of TFR's Off-Seasons played by Janny.
Description[edit | edit source]
History[edit | edit source]
It was created by the CIA
After the The Bogdanoffs won and took over with the Bogdanoff Championship Wrestling, humanity was on the verge of death, that's when X-COM, brandished by survivors as "The Final Resistance" due to TFR survivors joining, appeared. Ultimately TFR defeated The Bogs and saved the timeline from becoming even worse (or that's what they thought...).
In the timeline where Todd Howard won, X-COM is cancelled because Janny's XCOM copy was BOGGED and TODDED and 2KJEWED and refuses to work.
Janny took command of a "The Final Resistance" unit in another timeline, where came different aliens, at different times, and employed scummier tactics. The timeline is, however, crueler than what Janny's used to. The first episode has already proven it by locking Janny out of a lot of content, unless he reversed time to a way-earlier state. Perhaps, this will be the folly of Janny, the invasion that will send him into an untimely grave.
The as-of-yet inactive X-COM Project, with appointed John "Central" Bradford as it's Executive Officer, operates on a skeleton crew awaiting the moment it's serves might be cast into action.
When suspicious alien activity becomes apparent in The Final Rumble, and with not enough budget to recruit agents to send, Bradford himself takes on the ayylien threat and destroys his NEETcave. He also fucks a snake on live TV.
When Rumble-17 brings forth the apocalypse in 2020 and destroys much of the world, most of the X-COM Project assets and personnel are lost. As many years pass in the Rumbled World, Bradford uses what little's left of X-COM to form an insurgence against the forces of BANS and The Three Kings, by recruiting former TFR wrestlers who stand neither with Chaos or Law, and the new force born from it becomes The Final Resistance.
The X-COM Project was founded by the previous president, John Cena.
