The Misery Machine
Description[edit | edit source]
History[edit | edit source]
Formerly known as The Mystery Machine, Fred used the van with his former teen investigation group Mystery Inc. to solve mysteries around the country. In later years after the group's dissolution, it suffered a series of unfortunate events that lead it to it's current status, or at least that's what Fred claims (although some have the idea this is actually a completely different van).
Since he left home he's been using it to loosely keep himself from "sleeping on the streets" in it's literal meaning.
Season 0 (original)[edit | edit source]
Just after Leon Kennedy meets Fred Jones and they form The Paranormal Patrol, he asks him to use his van to take him to New York to get some virus to infect the tag division and get the titles (or most likely, impress Ada), and he begrudgingly agrees.
Season 2[edit | edit source]
Season 4[edit | edit source]
Leon steals Fred's van twice until Fred makes him promise to drink less.
Season 6[edit | edit source]
Somehow, Fred's piece of shit burnt-down van survives the apocalypse.
Season 0[edit | edit source]
Leon shows up at Fred's van at 6AM and drags him into a large trip to find the location of Ada.
Season 7[edit | edit source]
That hippie Shaggy Rogers reunites with Fred an sleeps in his van once again.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- The license plate says "BOGZBGON" indicating Fred's stance on The Bogs since even before their plan to take over TFR was revealed; the bad paint job is starting to fade however and the 'O' is returning to being a 'U'.
- It can traverse solid matter, perhaps a hint at it being possessed by a ghost like the Mystery Machine.
