The second season of The Cartel Rumble (can also be summarized as one of the most autistic Lobotomy Corp fanfctions ever known to man) which is set before Season 5 of The Final Rumble.
After the events of TCR/Season 1 and TFR Season 4, things went back to normal with exception of the now depowered Manager being left troubled by an ominous vision where he fought against himself until an old friend of his intervened to free him from the vision. Meanwhile a new director had been appointed to TCR by the name of Randy Pitchford who also found a former employee of his, Anthony Burch, who was left unconcious in some trash heap after getting attacked by some Bulbasuars. Randy Pitchford decided to take Anthony Burch on as a bodyguard and went to a meeting finalize the contract with TCR.
During this, inside the lockerrooms, the wrestlers began discussing how their sudden appearance to intervene against Kojima's evil plan have brought the entire show to the big picture. And how posters are being pasted everywhere across the globe.
The poster had pictures of the the wrestlers who intervened during the Kojima Crisis and right at the very front of the group was Jerkcity Corp. However when Manager was shown the poster a realization befell on him that the vision was a warning that his actions will bring the attention of the old company, Lobotomy Corporataion he used to run, which he had left behind a long time ago. And that this unexpected rise in fame will now certainly mean that they will be hot on his trail. This suspicion wasconfirmed when he ran into an employee from L Corp backstage who mentioned that these posters were found even in The City.
Elsewhere a guest wrestler from The Final Rumble by the name of Kaname Date has paid a visit to The Cartel Rumble to do some guest wrestling and to visit his friend Akasaka. Little did he know that he would end up doing more than just wrestling and oogling women.
The artifical intelligence who now leads Lobotomy Corporation ever since Manager left, Angela who is now armed with the knowledge of Manager's whereabouts has already made her move and had a plan in motion to sneak her way into the Board of Directors so that she can get close to Manager. By passing herself off as a personalized AI assistant she managed to manipulate Randy Pitchford into giving her control over directoral duties.
Originally, most of the lore was written by GnOP until Episode 6 when two other autists joined to help out with lore/video making
Spoilers for the ending/Cut content: Originally, there were only two endings planned for this season, The good ending was going to be Manager telling Angela to fuck off and Angela complying and starting the events of LoR, the other was Manager being taken away by Angela and Spigot being left to take up Manager's legacy. These endings got changed due to them being kind of shitty endings.
Originally, Luka and Alice were going to meet up much earlier in the season but due to time constraints, it was pushed back until Luka suddenly won Grand Autismo and required a complete rewrite.
A certain lore segment was played during a TFR break due to the lore being too big for the episode it was supposed to be in.
There is a cut lore segment in S2E11 that explained more about the presence of characters like Jon Arbuckle and The Whizzard which were cut due to time constraints and pacing issues.
Due to pacing issues, Manager's backstory was moved from S2E10 to S2E12.
The comparisons between Cirno and Angela were a complete accident that was thrown in when two autistic writers discussed how they had similar motifs.
The finale was a guess about how Angela's meltdown would have gone. Ironically in the next week, LoR would update with Angela's first realization event.
There is a cut epilogue that would have involved a certain mysterious character.
Half of the finale's cutscenes were made by modding Lobotomy Corporation's cutscene files, courtesy of AlFreakster.
