"Making the mother of all omelettes, Jack..." ― Senator Armstrong

The villain and final boss os Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.

The higher powers' greatest weapon yet not bound to them, the usurper of the throne, the menace himself. Ever since he entered, he's always been the most recurrent threat to the /v/ title, and has nearly always won.

Has a high tendency to win MITB matches, especially if there's two close so he can have TWO cases.

Might Makes Right[edit | edit source]

Born and raised in Texas, Steven Armstrong had always dreamt of greatness. After a successful football career at the University of Texas, Armstrong joined the Navy to serve his country. However, Armstrong was unsatisfied, noting that many of his compatriots were content with following their superiors' orders rather than questioning them and their actions. Armstrong sought to change this system with his own hands and went into politics. In order to gain enough power, Armstrong had to start with himself. He struck a deal with the certain organizations in exchange for nanomachines, vastly increasing his strength and endurance on top of his already impressive physique.

At some point he would fight some white-haired cyborg in a battle to the death where, ironically, they fought for the same thing from different points of views, and his blood marked the end of Armstrong's political career. Or at least so everyone thought...

Season 1[edit | edit source]

70% machine yet 100% american, Armstrong is true American patriot, who wishes to rebuild the American ideology. To do this, he needs funding and enough publicity to secure the seat in the Oval Office. The Final Rumble provides both in spades. Armstrong fights for political recognition for his campaign so that he can change the current American ideals of consumerism and nationalism. With his own strength, Armstrong will show the unenlightened masses the real American Dream, a dream in which anyone can fight for what they believe in rather than following the ideology of others.

Armstrong cares not for things like Team FMS or NWF. Instead, his aim is set higher, directly to the higher powers present in TFR, but first he'll have to show them a glimpse of his power.

Episode 3

Armstrong instantly sets himself as a strong opponent by winning the 6-man royale, proving his might.

Episode 4

The Bogdanoffs, a group Armstrong has had contact with in the past, noticed his value and were ready to agree on a "secret partnership", if only Armstrong could do one more thing for them.

While the hardened mercenary known as Mr. Grim Reaper prepared backstage, a group of several of the Bogs agents, including Armstrong, blocked his path...

Then later that night, he cements himself as one of the strongest by defeating the current champion, HUNK, who mysteriously had managed to make it to the arena.

Episode 5

However, it is suspected that wasn't the real champion but a pretender set by Armstrong's contact, and that he had been replaced to give Armstrong the win on purpose. Why? The answer is simple, the fight was staged to show Armstrong's might as unopposed, strive fear and put him on the top of the food chain.

Episode 6[edit | edit source]

Now facing the real Grim Reaper with a few friends, Armstrong is demolished by the real deal, losing the title and bending to the strongest.

Episode 7

But Armstrong is never one to stop pulling for his goal, and he went on to participate in the rumble and win all by himself the next chance at the /v/ title, proving again might makes right and that his might was second to no other.

Episode 8[edit | edit source]

Armstrong even sealed a deal with The Bogdanoffs to help them in their plans in exchange to making him president of the United States once they conquer the world. However, the Bogdanoffs had different plans for America...

"The weak will be purged, and the strongest will thrive - free to live as they see fit. THEY'LL make America great again!" ― Senator Steven Armstrong

Season 2[edit | edit source]

Armstrong and Majima play a friendly game of Golf, while HUNK takes notes.
With his plans falling off once The Bogdanoffs are banished, Armstrong returns once more to the ring so that he could try again to gain the fame he needs to become president.

Episode 2

He begins by crushing the foreign criminal that has been annoying him lately under his might.

Episode 3

His next move is winning the Money In The Bank in a match full of stacked superstars to show his dominance.

Episode 5

Armstrong announces his cash-in against "Jack" to prove that he deserves the /v/ Title by being the stronger one and to have his revenge.

Episode 6

Beating him fair and square (probably due to the fact Raiden had removed some of his augmentations), Armstrong proved once against his strength was to be reckoned with.

Episode 8

Fighting a man who, as he said it, "believed that america is #1", he was defeated by his own tactics.

Episode 9[edit | edit source]

Fighting against the newly re-upgraded Raiden, he once against defeated the coomer who seemed way too immersed on his VR games and making sure he isn't gonna be trying for a rematch any time soon.

Episode 12

Still bearing the title, he gets challenged by a scummy little assassin, however, his attempts to defeat Armstrong prove fruitless, for you can't kill the will of the man who'll save america.

Season 3[edit | edit source]

Keeping the title of /v/, it seems as if no-one could defeat Armstrong and steal the title from him. As long as he keeps the title, his rise in popularity to make america great again is all but guaranteed.

Episode 0

However, when it came time for his match, Maximillion Pegasus had a trick under his sleeve, he had activated his field card, Toon World, making everything look like a toon. This weirdness created enough mental pollution on Armstrong to allow a moment of weakness to be glimpsed, and Pegasus took advantage of it.

Episode 5

A fury slowly accumulated inside Armstrong, and he called out his nemesis once again. He wanted to fight Jack once again, and once and for all put the little cyborg out of commission for good, proving who was superior. However, another Jack came instead, and not being the Jack he desired, he and had to beat this culinary impostor.

Episode 6

Not to commit the same mistake again, he called out the name Raiden this time. Yet again, a guy named Raiden who was not his Raiden came out, and he had to defeat this "blunder god" instead of fighting his cyborg opponent once again.

Episode 9

Craving for a good match after all these blunders, Armstrong is challenged by WWE's Big Dog himself.

Armstrong made fast work of him.

Season 4[edit | edit source]

Armstrong continues wanting that rematch that will give him fame and power, yet he's always close but not there. He's will not stop until his popularity surges to the presidency.

Episode 1

Armstrong begins by fighting with a group equally militaristic ideals, yet not the most trigger-sane ones. Not great publicity

Episode 2

Trying to qualify to represent /v/ on this new tournament, he fights 4 people. but one stands out of them: a lawyer, bureaucratic filth of the kind that sits behind a desk without having the strength required to be the law. This man stands up to Armstrong the most of his other opponents, and even though he is subdued at the end, he gave Armstrong quite the struggle.

However, it doesn't end there, as Kojima decides to give him a solo surprise rematch against Armstrong due to fan demand. A weakened senator is attacked and clashes with an ace attorney, this time however being defeated.

Yet he still won't give up! When Armstrong leaves, he attacks him backstage and defeats the senator once again, and in an unprecedented move, Kojima himself gives him the /v/ category slot in the tournament.

Episode 4

When Kojima's hand was turning TFR at his whims and unease spread among the wrestlers, riots began in the locker rooms. However, Kojima sent the legendary HUNK to deal with them, and the rioters backed up in fear; all but one man who would always fight for freedom―Senator Steven Armstrong.

He stepped up to HUNK's might and the two battled. Senator Armstrong pushed his nanomachines to the limit in turning his skin pure metal, but in the end he finally did it, he won against the living legend mercenary HUNK, and he won for FREEDOM.

"I quite like you, sonny. But I won't let anyone get in my way from freedom, you or anyone else. Now, CHUNK or SUNK or whatever might your name be, get ready to taste the power of my nanomachines."
In the middle of the fight, Armstrong activated his Super-Nanomachines, a gift from Kojima, turning his skin solid as metal in response to pain.
"You can't hurt me, HUNK"
Episode 5

To prove it once again, Kojima arranges a rematch with the Laws of Wrestling of the 2K19 universe, and without his Super-Nanomachines Armstrong and the Grim REaper reach a standstill, being equal in power.

Episode 9

However, it was revealed that that win was a fluke, Senator Armstrong didn't step in to defend TFR, but to gain it's trust, as he was but another mere agent of Kojima just putting an act.

Episode 10

Right after the TCR Invasion had stalled to delay The Final Impact, Kojima started getting worried people would find a way to escape the 2K19 universe. With the Prototypes on repair, he sent Armstrong to return anyone crossing the portal to their inevitable doom, but much to his shock and terror, he had been intercepted by none other than The Court, the very team he had practically welcomed into his plan due to betraying their friends for him.

During the fight, when he turned his Super-Nanomachines to become invincible, they suddenly turned off 30 minutes later. Could it be that damn Wright did something from the sidelines? Edgeworth managed to deliver critical strikes to the surprised Armstrong and defeat it.

Episode 11

As a distraction so neither Kojima nor Armstrong interfere in Tohya Hachijo's match, Kirei Kotomine sent his servant Dimitri Blaiddyd with the order of stalling the most amount of time possible. Even though he was defeated, he managed to accomplish his mission and incapacitate Armstrong.

Season 5[edit | edit source]

After his deal with a certain gook fell off, he went looking into other ways to extend his influence to reach his ultimate goal of control over the United States. He went to this "conference", and instead of influence he found himself trapped by La Parka in a DEATH GAME. However, he wasn't just gonna let other people walk over him, he is gonna take this "game" and flip it upside down into the greatest publicity stunt for him by surviving and eliminating all the competition.

He was deemed a Candidate.

Episode 1

He was subjected to a surprise Majority Vote, where he received 12 votes. The vote concluded with HUNK being instantly sentenced to death.

Episode 2[edit | edit source]

He was put in a 8-man battle to get Immunity×2. He won and got the Immunity for two weeks.

Episode 4

Majima gets another chance to escape La Parka's Special Vote, but it's Samoa Joe who he will have to defeat, and he has called the one candidate he respects to aid him in this "friendship" theme who has fought this pest before, Senator Armstrong. Kiryu joins with his friend, but the best they can manage with such evil opponents is a draw, which doesn't save them from the vote.

Armstrong and Joe win Immunity×1.

Episode 6

For the "Rivalry" theme, Armstrong and Joe have bonded over their beliefs of might and decided to eliminate all other participants, and Amrstrong even promises to make Joe his Vice-President once they claw their way out of the skeleton's queer game. As for the theme, Joe's rival is far away and Armstrong wishes he could be beating Raiden right now, but they'll have to make do and fight another guy like them along with a former champion.

Bane was used to being pit against his life and defeated the wildly flailing Joe, while Knoxville counteracted Armstrong's nanomachines with something of his own: Painkillers.

Armstrong and Joe make it to the Main Vote. The vote concludes with Joe being sentenced to death with 12 votes, and Armstrong narrowly surviving at 5 votes.

Episode 8

It is revealed that the participants signed Postal Dude's petition to unknowingly participate in the game.

Armstrong participates in a ladder match for two weeks of immunity.

He snatches the case and wins Immunity×2. Also wins another case.

Episode 10

Offers his killing instincts to La Parka while he sits out this episode.

Episode 12[edit | edit source]

Armstrong in hell after losing the death game bust still holding on to his 2 immunities.
Armstrong reaches the final twilight and participates in The Final Trial. Armstrong just hopes to get it done with so he can kill all the other weaklings, but Majima calls him for biting more than he can chew. Instead, La Parka pits them both together. Majima loses and is set to be executed at the end of the trial.

In The Final Rumble Armstrong is killed off by Maximilion Pegasus.

Senator Armstrong has expired.

This character died in the Death Game

Season 6[edit | edit source]

Armstrong is dead, but his soul is in the Reservoir of Souls

Episode 14

Armstrong's soul calls forth Raiden for one last match. Raiden descends to Hell via VR, and Armstrong possesses AVGN.

Season 0[edit | edit source]

A senator of the USA, he actually hates bureaucratic fucks and instead wishes to make USA a country ruled by the truly strong, creating war to rise to power and end war. He is the leader of the movement known as the Armstrong Surge which plans to propel him to presidency, being a direct competitor of President Hazz Maticus.

Episode 1

His first move is to wrestle in The Final Rumble to show to the world he has no qualms with getting physical to those that oppose him.

Season 6: Epilogue[edit | edit source]

Armstrong manages to become the very first TFR champion by winning the title in an elimination chamber.

The Dark Web Rumble[edit | edit source]

A senator who will do anything to fulfill his goal of making america great again, since TFR's closure he has decided to go spreading his word to the masses personally, and joins the highest-class outlaw mudshow available.

Season 7[edit | edit source]

Being acquired by The Final Rumble is just getting a step closer to his plan of becoming president.

Episode 1/TFR

In what was supposed to be his title defense, Armstrong apparently defected and flew with the belt.

Episode 1/BCW[edit | edit source]

He had defected to BCW and fought his most formidable opponent yet: a clumsy japanese thief.

Episode 3/BCW

Then loses the title by being pinned by Rakesh.

Episode 5/TFR[edit | edit source]

Gets drafted back to TFR and saves face by saying he was better now for getting both titles.

Business, Jack.

Episode 6/TFR

However, Armstrong isn't looking to well, seeing as how he was defeated by the mere Zoomer.

Episode 7/TFR

Needing to make his might apparent again, Armstrong squashes a frail man, although it was a little harder than he expected.

Episode 8/TFR

Skipping directly to the second Tournament Qualifiers, old rivals meet once again. Armstrong reveals his plan: losing to bottom card to eventually become the underdog, then rise to the top in a swift blow, the crowd always eats it up and he'll be president in no time. This time however, Raiden is much less serious, but Armstrong punts him same as ever.

Episode 9[edit | edit source]

Armstrong states what the real stakes of this tournament are: a man fighting for his country, no, the world: himself! He has only one person in mind to fight, and that is the champion Kaidou Shun. However, a Zagreus escaping from a terrible hades makes his way to the ring convinced he has to defeat him to escape. The rumored "titan-killer" puts a fight but Armstrong punts him into the ceiling in the end.

Off-Season 8[edit | edit source]

Episode 14

Participates in the King of Kings Tournament to inherit Triple H's title.

Episode 31

Armstrong request a special bodyguard from the force, and Date gets put up to the job. Together, they become tag contenders.

Episode 32[edit | edit source]

And the senator's reason for bringing Date to this match paid off: posing as a jobber (which he is) Date was kept with little exposure to the fighting, and in a decisive moment turned the tides in their favor with just a single finisher. Thanks to that they would be walking home with the belts.

Episode 34

The cyborg & coomer are challenged by the cyborg & coomer, and get the titles taken from them.

The Extinct Light[edit | edit source]

ARMSTRONG@thebigguyarmstrong

Neither that decaying shithole TFR nor that unscrupulous kindergarten run by a snowman known as AEW deserve the raw american ideals of the big guy, so he's going solo with a YouTube career.

Episode 3

In his latest video, Armstrong has got something big, before they hit the weights for a big freakin' work out, he's got a new release from BK, the new "Possible Whopper". It's got a bun, some onions, and cheese as well. Tomato, lettuce... yeah big boys don't care about that. There's a patty as well... some mayo... very possible indeed. Real stuff from BK. Getting to take a bite...

Armstrong is getting more of a damped bite on this one... With a sip from his Vanilla whipped cream milkshake, Armstrong begins talking about something else; YouTube is diseased, rotten to the core, and Google keeps shortening his range. He could be pulling a lot more views, but he's been a victim of shadowban practices rooted in corruption and evil. What else is sick? BK's Possible Whopper, it seems like a subversion on the Impossible Whopper but it's got its own thing going; Patty's got protein for athletes like him, bun gives you energy for his daily routine, and putting meat between bread was an innovative move by BK. The final rating goes to 9 out of 10, but it should've come with fries.

And if you want more tips from your favorite food expert, start clicking that button down there and feeding the big guy more likes!
