Samoa Joe

"Seven Years. Seven years ago you took what was mine and I never got to take it back. You know a lot of significant life events can happen in that amount of time. Birthdays, holidays, funerals, and I missed them all. Because for over two thousand and five hundred-days, one thing has consumed me: Revenge." ― Samoa Joe, about his haunting experience inside the trunk

A wrestling superstar whose career took a bad turn when certain rookie superstar stole his title.

Universal King's Revengeance[edit | edit source]

Professor Scott Steiner Typography

Born and raised in Orange County he spent time during his childhood in ʻEwa Beach, Hawaii, where his family founded a Polynesian dance troupe called Tiare Productions. Before becoming a wrestler, Seanoa worked as a mortgage broker.

Joe signed with former WWF developmental affiliate Ultimate Pro Wrestling, where he feuded with John Cena. He tagged with Mike Knox at UPW and defeated the debuting Al Katrazz with Basil. He eventually captured the UPW Heavyweight Championship, and became the longest reigning UPW Heavyweight Champion.

Joe joined Ring of Honor as Christopher Daniels's "hired assassin", brought in to take out Daniels's chief enemy, Low Ki.

Joe signed a contract with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. He made his official debut five days later at the Slammiversary pay-per-view, defeating Sonjay Dutt in a match that saw him dubbed "The Samoan Submission Machine". Joe, sporting a new buzzcut hairstyle, tribal facepaint, and much heavier frame stated this was the "real" Joe, and presented his "nation of violence". Later, Joe got himself disqualified against his old rival and Main Event Mafia member Scott Steiner. That same week, Joe once again got disqualified in a match with Sheik Abdul Bashir. He took him backstage, hung him upside down, and tortured him.

Joe made his debut for the Mexican AAA at Rey de Reyes, where he teamed with Konnan and Ron Killings as Team TNA in a four-way twelve-man tag team match, which was won by Octagón, La Parka and Vampiro. Joe, A.J. Styles, Homicide and Low Ki defeated Abismo Negro, Charly Manson, Electroshock and Histeria, and then in a six-man tag team match, where he, Styles and Low Ki defeated the Mexican Powers (Crazy Boy, Joe Líder and Juventud Guerrera). Joe returned when he represented La Sociedad in two six man tag team matches. First at a AAA television taping he, L.A. Park and Scott Steiner defeated Dr. Wagner, Jr., Electroshock and El Zorro, and then he, Silver King and Último Gladiador were defeated by the team of Drago, Electroshock and Heavy Metal.

On WWE, Joe defeated Bàlor, Rollins, Reigns, and Wyatt in an Extreme Rules to become the #1 contender to Universal Championship. The following night on Raw, Joe confronted Paul Heyman, choking him out with the Coquina Clutch as a message to Brock Lesnar. Joe would unsuccessfully challenge Lesnar for the Universal Championship, and Joe faced Reigns to determine the next number one contender for the Universal Championship, however, the match would end in a no contest after Braun Strowman interfered and attacked both men. Joe, Reigns and Strowman all challenged Lesnar for the title in a fatal-four-way match.

The Extra OVA[edit | edit source]

The next day after winning the title by pinning Reigns, while announcing that he would not give the title easily, in the middle of his speak, Tre suddenly appeared trying to pass security, and Joe decided to humour him. Walking into the stage, he said he just "wanted to greet him", infuriating Joe and challenging him to a match, but Tre asked for a title match as he was being forced, which Joe accepted with the ego of winning it still in his head. Using his signature Coquina Clutch, Tre accidentally reversed it into a pin, which left Joe dumbfounded enough to be pinned. Tre ran with the title as Joe furiously ran behind him. Tre's next title match, Joe interrupted before he lost by choking Brock Lesnar's manager Paul Heyman, forcing him out the ring and attacking, DQing Tre and keeping his title, announcing that only THE Samoa Joe would be allowed to take it from him. Next title match against Braun Strowman, despite being banned from the building he hacked the main screen to informing that he was at Braun's hometown to see his father's great batting skill, and that he was about to show him "his own bat skill in the parking lot", causing Braun to head for Joe and to be DQ by count-out. On Tre's third attempt, despite being in an empty arena match, he had hidden himself under the ring all night and came out with a bat, but Strowman knocked him out and won the title. He went to confront Tre backstage, but was stopped by security, and GM Randy Orton fired him on the spot.

Samoa Joe
I even augmented my body to insure that when the time came, there would be nothing to stop me from destroying you. [...]
Red
But It's not even the same title.
Samoa Joe
Dont! Don't say that! It's the same. It's exactly the same! Seven years and the surgery and the pain and I'm going to take it back...

Joe was consumed by revenge and even went to a secret facility to install a bionic arm, enduring the pain, only to take what was his, and the opportunity finally presented itself 7 years later: when Brooklyn Von Braun became GM, Joe presented himself as an assent to help in her plans against Red & Tre, and during the final Bo5 match of Tre for Red's title defense, Joe appeared and attacked Tre, making him lose and Red lose her title without being pinned. Later on Tre's title match against Adam Cole, he knocked both out and made Tre win, infuriating both wrestlers just so he could steal Tre's title. On Tre's HiaC rematch, he shut the door, hitting an escaping Adam Cole, but Tre hit Samoa with the door from outside stunning him enough for Red to call security to interfere, so he could win the match properly.

During his very anticipated match with Tre, he knew all along he was going to attempt to exploit his weakness, and instead fixed his move and choked Tre to fainting, after the match applying a "Bionic Slam" completely devastating Tre.

"What's the matter? Not like you planned?" ― Samoa Joe, applying the revised Coquina Clutch to Tre.

...when both Red and Brooklyn knocked each other down, Samoa Joe headed to be the "winning edge", but Tre stopped and brawled him. Tre was beaten down as he wasn't a match for Samoa's bionic punches, but Tre lead the fight to the parking lot, and with a lucky punch stunned Samoa Joe enough to lock him in a car's trunk, containing him. While the match was on at least...

When Tre is leaving the Hall of Fame, he takes him hostage while Red fights and advices to not close or he'll break his neck. After the fight he throws Tre down the platform.

During The Final Showdown, even with the devastating blows from his bionic arm, he was surprised when Tre used his own Coquina Clutch against him.

TFR/Season 4[edit | edit source]

His quest for vengeance wasn't over. After discovering he was alive, he followed Tre into TFR, and he's decided to destroy him once and for all by joining again with Brooklyn.

Episode 7

At the end of that tournament, after beating several useless morons, he finally stood face to face with his destiny. This man had stolen something that was rightfully him. He sent his life in a an endless spiral of anger, a cycle of revenge, he ruined his life. Ever since that day all he could do is plot revenge, day and night, awake or asleep, conscious or unconscious, willing or unwilling, all his mind could do from that point on is think about destroying the one who stole it all away, who robbed him of any option, of any thought but this. He let the anger fester, he let revenge consume him and engulf him in it's flames. He didn't even doubt replacing his arm with a mechanical one, enduring a full year of the operation, recovery and adaption periods, and each moment was excruciatingly painful at all times, and it only made him angrier and his revenge burn brighter.

And now it finally came, the fateful day he could take his revenge, beat that man. He gave it all, he beat him with the intention of turning him into a bloody pulp. That very man couldn't even fight back, he was stricken by his bionic prowess and left beaten and defeated. It didn't matter his partner was defeated and he lost, Samoa Joe got his revenge. But maybe, just maybe, his anger has burned long and strong enough that just beating him isn't enough anymore to satiate it...

Episode 9

Samoa Joe had come and asked the almighty that he wished for one and just one thing: To be strong enough to Kill Extra, and he would serve him, do anything for it. Thinking about it for a moment, his boss told him there was one way, but that the pain he would need to endure would be terrifying. Joe didn't even falter for a moment and accepted, agreeing to become a killing machine.

TFR/Season 5[edit | edit source]

After the defeat of Kojima and his failure to defeat his mortal enemy, he got returned to normal (even his arm) via the power of Magic.

Along with 60 others, he went to a special conference about wrestling expecting his rival to be there, but he didn't show up. Now he's trapped in the Death Game in Universe 2K20.

Episode 1

He was selected for the non-candidate Death Rumble where the first 10 eliminated die and the winner and highest killer wins Immunity.

Due to being the highest killer, he wins the immunity.

Episode 2

Even despite being immune, he shows such a desire to hurt people that La Parka II put him in a special match where they could either win Immunity, or end in a Special Vote next episode.

He managed to win and gain extra immunity.

Episode 10

Is voted out.

Episode 12

Is revealed to have been one of the five dolls inserted into the death game under the control of BANS

The real Samoa Joe appears outside the death game with a second bionic arm to throw Extra into the TV world then proceeds to fight (and win) against Raiden (MG) who was trying to help Extra.

TFR/Season 6[edit | edit source]

Samoa Joe is apparently missing, but probably not for long...

Episode 1

Raiden has been unable to find neither Extra nor Joe's locations.

Episode 3

Is revealed to be part of the rioters rebelling against TFR seeking revenge against Red.

Episode 4

Demands Red's location from Hideo, and goes to find her. When he attempts to murder Red, Rean Schwarzer walks in looking for the silver-haired girl and can't stand a girl getting beaten, so he locks Samoa in the trunk of Dan's limo. Then Rumble-17 hit...

Episode 8[edit | edit source]

When Richtofen is investigating the old Coolsville Arena, he opens Dan's limousine's trunk. It seems at some point, his arms gained a sentience and stored a copy of Joe's consciousness with it's bionic systems. The bionic arms spring forth from the trunk and take over Richtofen's body...

Episode 11

The arms overtake Richtofen's body and replace his mind, reviving Joe back into this world once more. He then makes his way to the S Corp branch overtaken by BANS Army with only one objective: Revenge.

Episode 14

Joe finally acquires Red's location, and kidnaps her.

Episode 16

After reading the note left by him, Haze and Extra break into Joe's hideout guns blazing, but the astute Samoan nazi was wearing a bulletproof vest. Joe summons his servant, a modified Tyrant, and Haze takes "her" on while Extra fights the neck snapper. Haze somehow manages to defeat the towering conspiracy despite being beaten into a bloody pulp by it, and Extra destroys Joe in sheer rage to win back Red.

TFR/Season 0[edit | edit source]

The current WWE Universal champion who absolutely isn't gonna get his title stolen in 5 seconds by a twink.

Episode 9

Visits the Eden of Coolsville to have a good time but the feeble man they put with him can't even do the job right, and then as if that wasn't enough fucking truck crashes on the place.
