From The Final Rumble Wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

A character from Higurashi no Naku Koro ni.

Glacial Detective[edit | edit source]

Ooishi was born and raised in Okinomiya, a city near Hinamizawa. He worked there as a detective until his retirement.

He tirelessly pursued the group known as the Sonozaki Family for their crimes related to the Curse of Oyashiro-sama. He was never able to prove their relation to the crimes even in his attempt on his last year as detective.

One of the Soul Brothers along with Irie Kyousuke, Tomitake Jirou and Maebara Keiichi.

TFR/Season 5[edit | edit source]

Ooishi is enjoying his retirement and thinks of learning ballroom dancing, until...

Episode 3

One day, Ooishi in his retirement gets a call from Akasaka Mamoru where he hears the most unpleasant news: Tomitake was murdered, and police has their hands tied. Akasaka asks Ooishi to go there and help Date Kaname with investigation.

Episode 5

Ooishi meets Date and Raiden and befriends them. He learns about Adachi Tohru killing someone else the same night, and puts him on top of his suspect list.

He proposes Date to make a tag team, but they get dosed and drop out.

Episode 7

Ooishi finally confronts Adachi, who became The Joker, but fails to defeat him due to being assaulted by a bulbasaur kid.

After the fight, he learns from Date about the Death Game, and that Kotomine Kirei is behind both the Death Game and Tomitake's death.

Episode 9

Ooishi interrogates bulbasaur kid and learns that Big Smoke, whom Tomitake greatly humiliated during his debut, was the one who sent the kid to prevent Ooishi from learning the truth of Tomitake's death.

Ooishi decides to confront Big Smoke, but fails spectacularly.

Episode 11

Ooishi is hospitalized after his humiliating defeat, and he regrets getting overconfident. To his surprise, he gets visited by Keiichi, who gets angry at Ooishi's defeatist attitude and encourages him to strike back.

Episode 12

Along with Keiichi, Ooishi challenges Mr. Bones' servants to a fight, which they lose due to Ooishi tapping out. Perhaps, this old man really isn't cut for wrestling...

Regardless, Ooishi meets with Date and Raiden and they find a way to rescue Death Game participants with help from Delta, who brings them to the portal.

When they rush into 2k20 Universe, however, they find out that they were too late and Death Game was already concluded. Everyone was dead, and the villains won.

TFR/Season 6[edit | edit source]

Some months have passed since the tragedy, and Ooishi, Date, and Raiden are playing cards together. Raiden wonders of BANS and Kirei are truly gone, but Date Ooishi only muster that they only can keep doing their part until the truth is revealed.

Episode 1[edit | edit source]

The Coomer Gang enjoying time together
Attempts to take in CJ to the clink for his gang's crimes in the last season.

Probably made race riots worse with his televised actions in the ring and unluckily for him, was unable to defeat CJ to arrest him.

Episode 3

Bets his Joecoins on Duke due to Joe's offer.

Joins with Date and Raiden together in the ring once again, and they both make Raiden have to pay up porno mags if they lose.

Episode 4

Ooishi calls Date and Raiden for backup when the assault of BANS Army on TFR begins.

They are defeated by the sheer power of Elite Crew.

Possibly followed Delta to his "safe area" during the beginning of Rumble-17.

Episode 5

12 years in the future, Ooishi has become a ballroom dance teacher and mentors Maebara Keiichi who has become a detective to succeed him. He still meets with the coomer gang and fight for the first time together in years for The Final Resistance, and they defeat the JOB squad in a match.

Episode 6

Ooishi goes with the rest of the gang on the raid to Tazuna Industries. As they arrive, they decide to split up so Joe can't escape, and make it a competition to find him first.

On his way through the facility, Ooishi is intercepted by "Wesker Bravo" who has stayed young due to the facilities' technology, but Ooishi teaches him that he still has it.

The raid is unsuccessful and Joe escapes, however.

Episode 9

On the raid to The Factory, Date decides to go along as Ooishi and Raiden have a match for a title. (And also bribes them with mags and cards).

However, Date loses again and is captured.

Episode 10[edit | edit source]

During the Christmas Party, Ooishi shows his dancing skills with Phi and Aleph, and has a leisure match.

However... As the Troubleshooters turned on them and their allies started falling, Keiichi and Ooishi were locked away. When the doors opened, they made a run for it, but Ooishi thought that it was as if Oyashiro-sama's curse had striken again.

Episode 11

Eventually after escaping from the Resistance HQ, Keiichi and Ooishi laid low for a while, until they received a notice to regroup...

Episode 12

Now joining together with everyone at a nearby Angel Mort, they have a rumble to decide on the next leader of the Resistance. Along with Keiichi, Ooishi does poorly, being the very second person to come out.

Episode 13

The resistance travels to Coolsville where the forces of all factions are gathering for a final showdown.

Episode 14

They arrive at the Coolsville Arena. When Ooishi sees The Split, he tells Raiden to get ready as they have to rescue Date, but Raiden is busy, and Keiichi joins instead to make them pay for making Okabe's heart stop beating with the rhythm of the other Soul Brothers.

Ooishi, somehow, finds the strength to pin M'Rizen.

Episode 15[edit | edit source]

Narukami manages to negotiate the loyalty of "Agent 50" if Raiden can defeat him. However, as second stipulation, he an Sakakura Juzo must also fight Tazuna and Godzilla who have become "lovers" to bring the "fujodimes"

As Keiichi and Ooishi wait for their next booking, Vorgin, now reformed, attacks them claiming to be stronger (and have a bigger dick) than ever, and takes them 2-on-1. Same Vorgin as always.

Episode 16

As they recover "Agent 50", they find out that it is being controlled by another AI-Ball in it's eye. Aiba engages Terry-AI in a hacking fight, and successfully deletes it.

Date comes back, and the coomer gaing is once again reunited.

Episode 17

The Coomer Gang are the ones to tackle BANS as they support Date, stating that even if they couldn't prevent the death game, their friends will live on in their hearts. They are defeated, but in the nick of time Agent 49 manages to sing a song that dispel's BANS' grasp and sends him back to hell.

At the end of Suou Tatsuya's struggle, they reunite at the heart of the Cosmic Egg and Ooishi is glad he'll get years of his life back.

TFR/Season 0[edit | edit source]

An aged detective for the Coolsville Police Department who is thinking about retiring soon. He has Suou Katsuya as partner.

Episode 5

Ooishi through Ichivision

While patrolling an area since the increased security due to Coolsville Hills's opening, he encounters two suspicious individuals near a dumpster, and investigating further, finds a suspicious bill likely coming from an illegal group in one of the individuals. Despite denying ownership, Ooishi tries to get the men to peacefully get on his car to the station, but seeing as they refused, he had to call backup from his partner and subdue them.

Episode 6

While processing the criminals in the police station, he gets a visit from a shady but familiar man, who informs Ooishi of something that makes him grin devilishly (likely related to some secret information Ooishi knows...). After his leave, Sinbad of Sindria walks in, and through his charisma, explains how jailing Kasuga and Jack was erroneous. Ooishi is pissed at first, but sees the mistake and agrees to let them free.

Episode 7

Both cops sitting at Survive Bar, Katsuya is glad to be able to rest a bit, but Ooishi complains the place needs more a bit more AC. Since Suou is paying, Ooishi orders the best whiskey on the menu, making Katsuya a bit nervous, but Ooishi is merely jesting and tells him that he always falls for it. Before Katsuya pays, The Bartender offers the drinks on the house for no particular reason, Katsuya says it must be because Ooishi is a regular and he knows his retirement is coming soon. Ooishi starts thinking about his upcoming pension and how he'll be able to finally become a ballroom dancer, and Katsuya comments on how a hero of justice like him that served with him and his father as partners has done enough work.

Suddenly, loud repercussion start blasting around the area, and the two rush out as the bartened comments on how some jobs just won't leave you rest. Outside, a large group of Yeagerist Ingerland immigrants are causing a ruckus and Katsuya asks if they have a permit, but Ooishi knows these guys don't care and just want to go against the government. Ooishi calls for backup, but before they can make any arrests Arthur Morgan calls them clowns for standing in the way of freedom, and Ruber urges him to get rid of them like a true Yeagerist would, so the cops will need to take care of them before reinforcements arrive.

Episode 9

After hearing reports about the president and a truck crash, Ooishi Kuraudo and Suou Katsuya from the CPD arrive at the scene and stop everyone and confirm them true. Ooishi tells Katsuya to gather testimonies while he investigates the bodies, and the rest of the force to capture the shimano guy; although Majima is annoyed he had to do whatever it takes for the boss, he gives himself in and pays a visit to his bro.

Katsuya is done gathering the testimonies and is annoyed at how troublesome the case already is with just the president being in such an establishment, and is sad that he won't be able to bake a morning cake to his brother as he goes to check on Ooishi. In the crime scene, Ooishi... acts strange and asks to borrow Katsuya's notes.

Episode 10

When he is supposed to be investigating Chuck's with Katsuya and the building mysteriously catches on fire, he vanishes to "call the firefighters" but they take an awfully long time to get there despite his claims.

Episode 12

Entering the cold, freezing warehouse, Kiryu is met with it's current owner, Ooishi Kuraudo, who tries to get Kiryu to turn back since he doesn't know what kind of operation he's stepping into, but Kiryu won't let his evil schemes to end the yakuza come to pass. Before he's taken to an even colder car, Katsuya arrives having discovered that Ooishi is on something shady, but Ooishi wasn't alone as mercenary Tony Redgrave had been hired beforehand to deal with a "Dragon".

Meanwhile Vergil and Redgrave fight, Katsuya tries to question Ooishi, who instead just reminds the old cop of his previous partner, Suou's father. Ooishi's partner had been arrested for having illegal material, a Porno Mag, which got him on contraband charges, but Katsuya never believed he would do something like that... and it was true because the mag was Ooishi's. Both men fight, but neither really wants to, and Katsuya begs the person he looked to for so long to tell him why he did such a thing; the truth was... he didn't have a choice if he wanted to keep his pension, Suou's father got too close to the truth and his competency was his end, and to this day Ooishi continues to do such unlawful actions to protect his lifeline. Katsuya understands such a grave moral dilemma and still considers Ooishi family, and he in turn realizes he's learned more from his young partner than the other way around, realizing what's right and then begins to tell his story–BANG–Ooishi falls to the floor from an unseen gunner and Katsuya calls for support...

Episode 14

Katsuya visits Ooishi as he recovers in the hospital, but doesn't bring any porno mags...

Episode 53

Participates in the Contendership Clash Tournament.

The Extinct Light[edit | edit source]

After all the coomers got offered a special locker room that would allow them to enjoy a certain "interest" while in the arena, they jumped ship to Amakusa Elite Wrestling.

Episode 1

Date lost... again... in a mahjong match against Ooishi. He calls Raiden for reinforcement, but he's busy clicking links to HOT SINGLES in HIS AREA. Desperate, he begs Aiba for help in cheating at mahjong, but she enjoys seeing him struggle too much... Date decides to take a break and leaves the mahjong parlor.

Episode 5

Dante visits the local mahjong parlor and trades for some rare mags (as it's his pastime when going without jobs for too long) with Ooishi.

Suddenly, Mizuki breaks in and announces the revelation that Date has been missing, shocking Ooishi, and has been kidnapped by some sort of monster along with more of the AEW roster and the "Head of the Tower", but that Kiryu is on the case and they may even have a lead of where he is. Ooishi makes a few calls to the station right away, anything to get someone that is like a "Soul Brother" back, and even Raiden turns on his "single males" ads in case Date is in one of them. As for Dante... The Prince as well is an old friend of his, carrying that early-2000-action wrestling style, and Date might have some mags he wants, plus it is a demon hunter's job to slay demons and monsters after all. Coolsville Hills... that's where they need to be!

Episode 6

After Dante receives a call and has to leave their group, Ooishi, Mizuki and Raiden head to an abandoned BCW Arena where a local OMW show is taking place hearing it was being attacked. Overwhelmed by the appearance of the corrupted Date and the other allies of the black beast, Ooishi makes an urgent call to Dante for reinforcements. When Dante and Kiryu arrive, Ooishi, Mizuki, Raiden, and OMW couch Kevin Nash are at their very last rope resisting the blackening. The berserking Blacked Date stops rampaging around when Dante asks for his collection, letting out a scream and summoning the other one attacking the place: Blacked Chopper, an "old friend" of Dante. For their sake, they must be taken down.

With one last Dragon Bomb, Date is done for and the Chopper crashes. Date's blackness washes away, and the group can be taken to the hospital. But then, as they discover too late, the Black Knight was actually unnoticed within the Chopper thanks to his concealment ability. The Black Knight, who despite his armored appearance was still a formless mass of power lacking a solid foundation, found the perfect container in Kevin Nash―the perfect victim of blacked and blackening―and enters his being before vanishing away.

TFR/Season 8[edit | edit source]

Since Mafia City's activity skyrocketed, Ooishi has had to focus his all on stopping them, but one day he'll return to bringing the Sonozaki's crimes to light.

Episode 3

Ooishi arrives to Angel Mort to remind Date he'll be late for his shift, and says it's good to see two friends catching up. His car already has the AC on, but he tells Date to keep the window open... he doesn't want him to vomit the filthy Sonozaki slop inside. Keiichi remains silent as the two walk off smiling.

Episode 4

While Date and Kiryu are talking in the Detention Center following Jackson's arrest, Ooishi jokes about Date 'talking to a dangerous criminal' as Kiryu is painted in the viral KAngel video, which Date notes in pretty bad taste at the time.
