"Motivation!" ― Vergil

The rival of Dante in the Devil May Cry series and his brother.

The Alpha and the Omega[edit | edit source]

The other son of Sparda, Vergil, and a master swordsman; even without his katana, Yamato, Vergil is still a force to be reckoned with. Polar opposite of his twin brother Dante, Vergil is collected, cold and calculating, save for the rare times when Dante's nearby liveliness passes on to him. Only one thing motivates Vergil: power, in any form he can get his hands on. Vergil's quest for power has led him at odds against with his family. Despite his autism boner for power, Vergil has been shown to be honorable, such as letting Dante recover from his injuries in order to have a fair fight, and moreso his desire for power stems from the time when he was unable to protect his family. At one point he has a son, Nero, although no one is sure how he was made. The most common theory is rape (by Nero's mom).

TFR/Season 1[edit | edit source]

The demonic swordsman now endeavors to show scum the power of a son of Sparda, and what better a place to search for worthy opponents than on The Final Rumble?

Episode 1

Debuting in a match against his "Brother", Vergil quickly realizes something's not right and decides to test the power of the impersonator.

Vergil, noticing the ongoing war, decides to join Team FMS, conflating this "sister fucking" with some strange new power, he fully supports Chris Redfield in his antics to get Leon to gain this kind of power.

Episode 2

Joining with Chris against "Dante" and Chris' target, Vergil fully comprehends the nature of the impostor when he hits Chris Redfield right in his bolas.

He also gets to witness the power of this "Extra" individual, who wins the title and retains it in a second instant match.

Episode 3[edit | edit source]

Realizing he might need a bit more power, Vergil calls his son Nero, who helps him compete for the tag team titles, as well as doesn't mind minor support for FMS since he's married.

Episode 4

In his eternal quest for power, he teams up with a "big guy" against their enemies.

Episode 6

After his son wins the King of Jobbers Title, Vergil decides he wants it and challenges his descendency for it, showing he can take it just like he did his hand.

Episode 7

However, Nero isn't just gonna take that from his deadbeat old man and with a Punch Line! steals back the title again.

Episode 8

Finally, with a party-lover and poetry-reader gaining interest in the conflict, the entire DMC family has one big match for who shall take the title. As it turns out, Vergil's fragile humanity is truly the King of all Jobbers.

TFR/Season 2[edit | edit source]

After his showing his wrestling prowess, Vergil is hungry for more matches, until he can reach enough power to get the highest titles.

Episode 2[edit | edit source]

Vergil walks into the stage to announce something: He has seen a new source of power like he never has before, a strange power of fury fueled by revenge, and he seeks the demonic origin of it. Moments afterward, the evil appears itself: Nightmare Todd has come. However, as if mockingly, he is not here to fight Vergil, for he is weakened and would not make a digne adversary. He instead, sends out his lowest-ranked minion to test Vergil: The terrible Janny.

Easily beaten by even a Weakened Vergil, this pathetic creature proves that Vergil is powerful enough to be useful to Todd, and he appears behind Vergil and grabs him, then disappears...

Episode 3[edit | edit source]

When Redfield's Therapist came to the arena to try and settle this peacefully, it is revealed what Todd Howard did to him: Vergil has become Nelo Angelo once again, and he attacks Chris' Therapist.

Episode 5

V tries to challenge his demonic half to a poetry match. When that turns sour, he tries to beat him thinking that would fix him, but not even that managed to fix Nelo Angelo.

Episode 9

After beating the shit out of his brother Dante in blind rage, Nelo moved in to finish his brother just like he had many times before. Yet before the enslaved demon could put an end to him, V forcefully fused back with him, ridding him of the weakness that allowed the Angelo armor to take hold in the first place, and restoring him to his full glory. V sacrificed his individuality to become whole again and restore him from Todd's mind-control. Maybe some of V still resides in him?

Episode 10[edit | edit source]

Restored form

The returned Vergil apologizes for his absence and instantly reveals what he learned as Nelo Angelo: it is not true power that which fuels Todd Howard, but an ability he gained in his second form called Mind-Link, which used on his minions syphons power from them and onto him.

If you wish to defeat Todd Howard, you must start with his minions, and then strike quickly. Now, Show me your Motivation!

Episode 11

Once again Nero goes after Dante, and finds him leaving along with Vergil to face Todd Howard. Maybe Vergil doesn't want Nero inexpertly trying to help them, or maybe he cares about his son, but he tells him that they can take him alone, and Dante adds that he has to protect the Locker Room from Joker, and more importantly, protect Kyrie. Thus they leave to confront the lord of Bethesda at The Throat of the World.

Episode 12[edit | edit source]

The Sons of Sparda challenge the Demon King, and intoxicated in his own lies, he believed he was powerful enough to take both of them at once. Much like his games, the promise didn't deliver, and the Demon King was shown to be defeated. And with a "Jackpot!", the Yamato's power sliced the king in two: His Human Form fell into a coma, and his demonic power was sent to Hell. Thus his reign of terror ended, and the tale of "The Rise of the New Demon King" was over.

Once that is done with, him and Vergil have a match once and for all to decide which one was the stronger brother, and Dante wins. Jackpot.

TFR/Season 3[edit | edit source]

With Nelo Angelo gone and his form completely restored, Vergil once again is at his best condition to show just how terrifying the blood of Sparda can be.

His son is also disappeared but he can probably get out of whatever trouble he's into by himself.

Episode 0

However, while Vergil is "meditating" (reading manga) backstage, he suddenly finds reality destabilizing and himself being flung through time. More than that, it feels as if something was taken from him again...

Episode 3

Gathering himself enough to hold his form again, Dante & Vergil fight a strange group identifying themselves as the "Killer2" who would somehow defeat the demonic brothers. Just how could someone do that?

Episode 4

After Chris-Chan's defeat, he along with 17 other people were transported to another world's Rokkenjima in 1986 after the use of the Focusing Stone to escape the distorted dimensions malfunctioned.

Episode 5

Most strange of all, V was found backstage by Dante, apparently having been there for weeks since the Dimensional Merge began.

Episode 9

As Battler re-obtained the Focusing Stone, everyone gathered in the Rokkenjima Shrine to go back home; Vorgin and Leon are quite happy after having kindled the father/son bond (or, more likely, Vorgin is happy to have someone to brag to about his dick, and Leon eagerly awaits his penis-enlargement techniques), Therapist adds another item to the list of Leon's problems, and Boomer cried in pain at leaving the past...

He and the others returned, however, since V was separated again, it takes Vergil great effort to stay in human form when V is not around.

TFR/Season 4[edit | edit source]

I seriously hope you guys are MOTIVATED today.

Managing to maintain his human form thanks to V, Vergil can at least be stable most of the time.

Episode 4

Fighting his returned son, two gunners and two servants of evil, the blood of sparda

Episode 5

They even defeated the returning Killer2, winning the titles and defeating the ones who had defeated them before, proving the blood of sparda surpasses any assassin.

Episode 7

Kojima has decided to give Vergil terrible hair as one of his "gimmicks".

The recent team of The Court also managed to take the title away from them, in no small part due to Vergil's hair. The Demon Attorney's power interests Vergil in studying law.

Episode 8[edit | edit source]

Vergil with his new haircut in ''WWE 2K20''

Next, Kojima puts him against his hollywood star for an even worse haircut on the line. Vergil's hair is so terrible that one single punch from Hawk makes his hair start bleeding and shortly after defeats him.

TFR/Season 5[edit | edit source]

With Kojima gone, Vergil's hair returns to normal and his pride as a demon's son returns, and also the whole Final Impact stuff was solved too but who cares his hair is back.

Episode 5

Something strange must has happened with V, since Vergil has started to degrade quickly, becoming corrupted and unstable.

Episode 9

Demi-fiend leads Dante to a room where a partially decayed Vergil stands alone. When he sees Dante, he decides he shall die and defeats him in the ring.

Episode 11[edit | edit source]

Before he can end Dante, Demi-fiend steps into the ring, but when Vergil has his back turned, the vengeful Vorgin trying to take revenge on Donte hits him from behind and delivers a low blow right to Vergil's red orbs. The shock of the impact is enough to send a shockwave, and sheer intensity of it causes Vergil to destabilize and forcefully merge with Vorgin becoming a new being: Vergil (with bigger dick) or Vergin for short.

The now fused monstrosity faces Demi-fiend, but loses by not being adapted to the sheer size of his bigger wub dick.

Episode 12[edit | edit source]

Vergil & Dante comparing hats

Dante visits "Vergin" at the hospital asking him to explain what happened, and he explains how after he felt a shock down there, his humanity returned... with a hat he can't remove and feeling retarded as fuck. After that, they think they may be forgetting something important...

TFR/Season 6[edit | edit source]

He became a tendie-obsessed neckbeard after his fusion with Vorgin which while stabilized him, also turned him into a manchild.

Episode 1

Dante and Vergin visit Nero at the hospital who is now fully recovered. On the contrary, Vorgin has become more retarded as time went on, confusing people with Donte all the time. Even Dante who enjoys this silly side of Vergil thinks it's getting annoying. Nero wonders what the fuck happened to his dad, but Dante tells him it's a long story...

Episode 4

When Dante sets eyes on one of the backstage rioters, Vergin shows up trying to tag along but Dante tells him to fuck off to a safe place. When he's annoyed enough, Nero tells him they have chicken fingers in the safe area, and he happily hops along.

Episode 5[edit | edit source]

12 years in the future after The Disaster, Vergin has become much more retarded, and a very fat neckbeard too. Him, Nero and Dante are still with The Final Resistance and have a match to decide who will go to the next raid, with the young blood winning over the (remarkably stylish) boomers.

Episode 6

Dante walks in on Vergin having a remarkably bad day on his "condition" talking to himself. Vergin curses Dante and swears someday he'll regain his demonic strength...

Just then, Vergin gets a call from a Noble voice telling him of a way to attain power if he participates in a little project, and he instantly accepts.

Episode 7

Gets kidnapped.

Episode 8[edit | edit source]

Undergoes a procedure with the Three Kings that split his body into three; the old and weak Vergil, V. Angelo and M'Rizen.

When he tries to escape, he is confronted by The Headmaster, who easily defeats him in such a weakened state and uses his Perfect Erasure, erasing Vergil from reality so that nobody remembered he even existed.

Episode 17

After Headmaster's defeat at the hands of Coyote, he and the rest of the erased individuals came back (although Vorgin was still a stone).

At the end of Suou Tatsuya's struggle, he's impressed from his intentions to challenge The Kings' vision, and kneels to the power of "la familia".

TFR/Season 0[edit | edit source]

Vergil, son of Sparda, brother of Dante, father of Nero, demonic swordsman and avid reader of obscure manga published on Shonen Jump, he does not-as-wacky-as-his-brother wacky demon things like being obsessed with power and telling the poetry-reading twink inside him that he sucks.

More recently, Vergil has become the manager of the "Eden of Coolsville" club due to the power that flourishes within the people that visit it, becoming unrestrained in their potential. Also probably he regrets and is deeply traumatized by the events leading to Nero's birth.

Episode 2[edit | edit source]

Vergil greets the crowd saying how this place is where true potential for power is revealed, and that's how they partnered with the biggest Producers out there and are holding recording and audition processes in there. He noticies a stand-out newcomer asking for the auditions, and despite being initially intimidated by having to do the audition in front of the live crowd, Vergil pushes him to show his all right there to decide if he isn't schum worth of working at the club, testing him himself.

He manages to be defeated, and Extra shows his full potential.

Episode 3

Impressed by his display of POWER, Vergil is caught off-guard by Extra's audition, and although he may get back some day, he welcomes Extra. Van shows up stating that he will be his supervisor since, as part of the deal, Extra will have to work at the hostess club as well. Now Extra is the one caught off-guard, as Van tells him to go into his dungeon to get changed up. Intimidated, Extra rushes out saying he needs to talk with his boss, while Van calls his slave ass back. Meanwhile, Vergil tells the staff it can leave, while he'll stay to take care of...

Episode 4

When opening the Eden of Coolsville, Vergil is greeted by his old friend The Dragon. Kiryu tells him his enemies may come after the place, but as #1 Hostess Club, their hosts and hostesses are the most powerful in all of Coolsville, and they demonstrate it in each of their matches, but Kiryu owes too much his boss to take the risk. Just then, a scream of feeding resounds and the place is filled with Ryback Family mooks. Kiryu and Vergil take them out, but then their boss shows up himself. Kiryu asks Vergil to take his clients out and let him tackle this fight alone, Vergil understands the honor involved and leaves.

After Kiryu defeats Ryback, the remorseful big guy cleans up the mess he caused.

Episode 8

Greeting the guests at the entrance, he notices it's Fred Jones, a VIP, and calls the owner Chuck.

Episode 9[edit | edit source]

The TV Newscaster announces further reports about the "Eden of Coolsville Incident" and the reported assassination of President Maticus. Coolsville's Governor Deid Mann announces from the establishment's front that he's saddened about the president's sudden passing at his eighth year of mandate, and that although they didn't always agree he has surely done his best to develop the country in his career; While Coolsville's police solves the case, Chuck's will remain closed. Chuck's Suck & Fuck's Manager Vergil also has to comment on the situation that they could not prevent this due to their lack of power, and all the blame remains on them; but Chuck's will keep on sucking and be back soon enough.

Episode 12

Tony Redgrave is hired to protect a warehouse on the name of Ooishi Kuraudo and deal with a Dragon, arriving in a "timely" manner when Ooishi is confronted by Kiryu Kazuma and Suou Katsuya. With the odds against Kiryu, suddenly his friend Vergil arrives, meeting his brother for the fist time since he began managing Chuck's, but this time he'll make sure things go a different way, and allows Kiryu to push forward to end this long-winded tragedy. The two demonic brothers face each other once more (about as many times as Raiden has faced Armstrong), and Vergil comes on top once again. While his club has kept him busy, he still has the touch, unlike Redgrave who lost sight of Kiryu, but he's not nearly old enough to be done yet, and the two engage once more in their eternal rivalry.

Episode 13

Former residents of the Eden of Coolsville gather around to pay respect, headed by Vergil who comes to give his condolences to a shrine of power that sheltered many men's dreams with a phrase they once used to say, "The place where fantasies were fulfilled...", "...and asses were filled", Aniki showing up to finish their old saying, as Vergil greets him as one of their more formidable workers. Ricardo wonders about the boss' whereabouts, with Vergil sadly informing he's not on the best shape but hopeful he'll regain his POWER soon.

Big Pussy asks if they found the culprit, with Cum Bucket blaming it on those wrestlers and their violent gimmicks that go too far. The police has finished their investigation (awfully soon) and entrance has been cleared, with Aniki remarking he wants to check a specific place...

Episode 14

Having learned of Hazz Maticus' true intentions, Leon Kennedy and Fred Jones inform Kiryu's friends and along The Cagist, Date Kaname and Suou Katsuya arrive to the top of Coolsville Hills in an helicopter, just after Hazz is done explaining how he hid his past in his son, artificially aged himself, and faked his own death. Before Hazz can end Kiryu, Leon and Fred drop down and confront him, as Kiryu is taken away in the helicopter. Hazz's presidential guard of 4 S.W.A.T. Members challenges them, but, they are mowed down by the paranormal patrol, and at last Hazz fights them directly with the S.W.A.T. Captain. Despite all this power, his plan, his gun, and his complex old age, Hazz couldn't stop Leon and Fred from ending his reign and saving China, not only because they had apple juice and a dilapidated van, but comrades by their side; Kiryu Kazuma... Suou Katsuya... Date Kaname... Shoji Shingo... Majima Goro and his brother... Warden Osborne... Officer Joe... Osama bin Laden... Kasai Tatsuyoshi... Van Darkholme... The Cagist... Hanyuu... Extra... Vergil... Dante... HUNK... Zagreus... Ryback, Chris Masters, Sheamus... Narihisago Akihito... Zoomer... Tomitake Jirou... Hassan and Kojima... Chuck... and Gregory Edgeworth... all irreplaceable people whose bonds have carried them to defeat him.

After everything is concluded, Kiryu decided to return to driving taxis, and says his goodbyes to Vergil and Date. Where he left his car and it all began, he meets the last person he expected... Mark Jindrak. He blames Kiryu for losing everything and would rather hang than return to the indies, but Kiryu wants him to see that now that Hazz is gone, he can start anew and anything is possible, even making it back up to the top card. Kiryu offers to help him... but Jindrak stabs a dagger into him; Kiryu never knew having Lance Cade by his side, or being erased from every Evolution group photo... until now, because he's gonna erase him himself.

As long as you believe... You can still draw... Even when you think it's impossible... That's... What the Cagist told me...

Vergil enters and SCHUMs Jindrak with his katana, as Date grabs Kiryu and begs him to live so he can bring him his exported porno mags...

He defeats him, proving his pleb taste.

Episode 8/BCW

Defeats Power to qualify in the tournament.

Episode 9

Before Vergil engages his "other self", Blackquill requests to take the fight as V has said the great offence that Manga has nothing on old poetry. Vergil concedes, and even adds that were him to win, hell read the manga he mocked before.

Episode 2

The Royal Family becomes the first AEW trio champions.

Episode 3

The Trios titles are put at stake when Nero is attacked by Alucard's The Butcher & The Blade.

But the royal family of wrestling manages to prevail.

TFR/Season 8[edit | edit source]

With an enemy rising to their level at the championship level, the Sparda Lineage is at it's most challenged position yet.

Episode 3

After seeing Dante continue to fail to grab the brass ring... Vergil can't hold himself from talking anymore. He thought the fed was limiting his power... yet he lost that match to an injured man that isn't even able to come to work after unleashing his ultimate technique in that ring. Did he want it more, or is he simply stronger? Nero already realized the answer, but the real question is, has he given up? He hopes not, for Vergil wishes to restore the feeling of being the best in the ring, because then he can beat his brother at his best. It's time to make a choice; prove your worth, defeat the fearsome foes that come your way, young talent, the future of this business, show them your power if any still remains. Then and only then shall they stand again as one. Show me your motivation!

Episode 4

Vergil accompanied Dante's challenger in his test of power, which Dante sorely lost...

Episode 7

Participates in the AEW Singles Championship Tournament.

Seemingly mended his relationship with his brother as he attacked his opponent.

Episode 8

Vergil might be wondering why Dante helped him, probably having something like "you just got in my way" at the ready to say, but despite everything, they're still brothers. Dante has lost him many times before, and doesn't want that to happen again, even if he tries his hardest to piss him off, EVEN if he puts him against unfathomably strong opponent such as Steve Burnside. He desperately wants to prove Dante doesn't have power anymore, but the truth is, he's just insecure; his last match proved that to him. Dante knows Vergil wants to see him at his best, and likewise the other way. So, next week, one more match... consider this a formal challenge.

Episode 9.1

In the long awaited Dante vs. Vergil match, Nero makes a surprise incursion, trying to stop the feud between his kin at any cost, and to prove how determined he is, wins the match. (Dante also proved himself an ultimate washed-out shitter.)
