Kojima Productions Co., Ltd. is a Japanese video game development studio founded in 2015 by Hideo Kojima. It is the spiritual successor (with a slightly altered Japanese name) to a production team inside Konami also known as Kojima Productions originally founded in 2005.

Description[edit | edit source]

The office where the great genius Kojima makes all his revolutionary ideas come true, with the help of his assistants and other hired staff.

Originally it only produced videogames, but Kojima has pushed it into making movies as well, making many hits...

History[edit | edit source]

Several months after being made to leave Konami during the development of MGS5, On DEC 16, 2015, in a joint announcement with Sony Computer Entertainment, Kojima announced that he would start an independent studio—named Kojima Productions—alongside Shinkawa Yoji and Imaizumi Kenichiro.

TFR/Season 3[edit | edit source]

As he explains to his staff, Kojima is very interested in acquiring this brand: the potential to deliver stories is incredible! Up next in the company movie night, "The best of TFR, Volume 2", but if interested, they should very much watch the rest of the current material... did you rike it?

TFR/Season 4[edit | edit source]

Kojima began observing The Final Rumble and taking a big interest, having previously made a contract with HUNK's mercenary business to give the Focusing Stone to Ushiromiya Battler, which was in secret modified by SC so that Battler would serve as the processor for Kojima creating his own world, Kojima's World, later known as the Universe 2K20 due to rumors, along with a script linked to its core to control it. He would become a junior writer for the department of creative, while secretely making HUNK himself and Big Show work for him. Shortly after, he begins an hostile takeover of TFR, and the moment he obtains enough control, he begins implementing idea after idea while relaying them all to his Producer from the Kojima Productions office. Soon enough, his ideas begin to alter reality, believed to be due to the Universe 2K20 phenomenon, even claiming things such as "bringing Johnny Knoxville to this world" and "creating a bubble of the 2K19 reality for the HUNK vs. Senator Armstrong rematch".

Kojima Productions staff would begin secretly working on what Kojima dubbed the "next generation of wrestlers in prototype stage", The Prototypes, aberrations whose existence made little sense, and also begun turning HUNK into an enhanced cyborg. When Sminem announces that Kojima's contract stipulates he still only owns 50% of the company, the throws him, the one with the other half, into the 2K19 world, revealing it to not be destroyed. With things getting hectic, Kojima sent the still very much unfinished prototypes, who were about 20% complete, to quell the rebellion growing at TFR's Locker Room, in preparation for bringing the real Final Impact, having been nothing but a rumor before, to the 2K19 world where all his enemies had been left having dark matches. Right before his plan succeeded, a rival company invaded TFR premises and defeated The Prototypes, and then Phoenix Wright, who was cooperating with him, betrayed him and allowed people to cross over to his world.

Upon Wright revealing Battler, now in the form of Hachijo Tohya, had woken up from his coma, Kojima became both ecstatic at getting the legendary figure of TFR to participate in his vision, and directed all his hate towards the one embodying challenge to his plan. To test the so-called hero of TFR, Kojima went himself to the TFR office for the first time, and had all the while been teasing him by showing him his genius booking and his magician skills. As more of the late Battler's allies show up, HUNK-V2 finally arrives, ready to confront Tohya.

Upon his defeat, Tohya takes the magical script and undoes all of his magic, and denies Kojima's very fundamental existence.

TFR/Season 5[edit | edit source]

His producer, Hideo, became the next GM of TFR, and left the KojiPro offices, hoping to not see them again.

TFR/Season 6[edit | edit source]

During the 12 years since the rumbling of the world, Kojima Productions and ZeniMax Media became subsidiaries to The Three Kings. When both of the companies' owners returned, they decided to work together and fuse the companies into KojiMax Media Productions, which would rule audiovisual world, but their dreams never came to reality.

TFR/Season 0[edit | edit source]

In the distant past of a different world, Kojima had cast yakuza member Kiryu Kazuma in KojiPro's debut film work: Dragon. The film was a success, but attracted both good and bad publicity towards Kiryu, who laid off the acting job for a while.

Kojima came upon a secret partnership with Hassan known as The Ruse, a secret connection to ruse the world into the greatest secret video game collaboration of all time. The publicity gained from winning the NXT's King of /v/ tournament helped Hassan in attracting even more attention towards his new project. Once the ruse was finally revealed, him and his friend and collaborator, Director Hideo Kojima, grew to heights never before seen in the entertainment industry.

TFR/Season 8[edit | edit source]

Kojima and Kiryu are once again collaborating, working on his next subversive masterpiece. Kojima explains "Coror brue represent wisdomu and serenity. It mean his soul ascend to higher prane of existence. That he trury become Dragon among human!", and that there's a reason he invented the 'camera' as when they reshoot, The Final Impact will look better from the other angle, and Kiryu finally understands what he failed the first time around, except for the "Social Scream System" Kojima says will only matter latter since he invented 'scream' after all. Then, something serious surges and Kiryu has to leave Japan in a hurry, but thankfully Kojima invented "Paido Reave".

Kaz Hirai and Kojima have grueling negotiations about the platforms for Death Stranding 2 and Physint, and when Kojima suggests a timed exclusive deal for PS5, Hirai uses threats repeated by his allies Kratos and Nathan Drake to strongarm Kojima into accepting ultimate exclusivity.
