From The Final Rumble Wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

Main character from God Hand.

A man cucked by Capcom, after losing not only his arm but also his game series and studio due to seething game journalists, he decided to enter wrestling with his Godhand to prove once and for all that he deserves another game.

The Right Hand of Job[edit | edit source]

A reckless man who lost his right arm in a fight, but was granted a replacement, the powerful JobGodhand, by a goddess.

In The Final Rumble[edit | edit source]

TFR/Season 2[edit | edit source]

Now he seeks the strongest opponents to defeat in The Final Rumble.

Episode 12

Unluckily, he debuts in a rumble, and not in the highest position.

TFR/Season 3[edit | edit source]

Returning once again, Gene wants to prove he's not deadweight and prove he's on TFR's level.

Episode 0

On his first match, puts on quite a show on a multiman after he's left 1v1 against Balthios James. Doesn't win, however.

Episode 5

Finally gets recognized for his attempt and gets a chance at title contendership, but that too is out of reach for him

Episode 6

Faces some highschool punk much like him, but loses as well...

TFR/Season 4[edit | edit source]

Was probably one of the wrestlers who had dark matches in the Universe 2K19 after being abandoned by Kojima. He didn't even get to get a final match. Not like anyone cares.

TFR/Season 5[edit | edit source]

Not giving up, Gene dreams to someday manage to get his first win.

Episode 5

Meets a fellow jobber named Rance who knows much in the way of "rape" and they hit it off as jobber friends.

Episode 7[edit | edit source]

Fights against Geralt of Rivia, a man who was turned into a joke after being defeated in a mere 20 seconds by Zoomer. Not only that, but he manages to become Gene's first canon victory of any kind. After the fight, he, Geralt, and Rance all laugh it off together.

TFR/Season 6[edit | edit source]

The Jobbers visit Zoomer for his birthday

After the tragedy, with the increased unity of the Locker Room, Geralt and Gene decided to form "The J.O.B Squad" with Rance tagging along.

All job squad members visited Zoomer for his birthday with fellow jobber Narushima Koga also showing up.

Episode 1

They debut their team in a fatal-4-way of new tag teams, with Gene getting two pins and being the last person pinned, maybe proving that he was just a team specialist all along.

Episode 3

Accompanies Rance on his match against Van Darkholme, and wonders if he can teach him about "fisting" with his Godhand...

Episode 4

Gets hit by the explosion of the rioters and gets his arm damaged again.

Episode 5[edit | edit source]

12 years in the future after The Disaster, Gene is still part of The J.O.B Squad and friends. He spends time trying to beat up wasteland punks with his jobhand.

Episode 7

The jobbers discuss their upcoming match where they decide who among themselves gets a chance at the KoJ title. Rance wins the match.

Episode 8[edit | edit source]

The jobbers celebrating Rance's victory.

As Rance is being smug about his victory, Zoomer comes to congratulate Rance. Gerry wonders where Jonesy is, which has Zoomer bullying him as he claims that "that little guy is important to him".

As Rance goes on to his title match, he asks the jobbers to chant "RCR" for him. Zoomer wonders what the last R is for...

Episode 10[edit | edit source]

During the Christmas Party, he explains to Nero where Rance and Leon S. Kennedy went, and takes part in a leisure match.

During the Troubleshooters' mad slaughter, he successfully avoided them until he could escape

Episode 11[edit | edit source]

Ingurland and a few other members of the resistance regroup in an Angel Mort while they wait for things to calm down.

Mentions that Geralt and Zoomer went to the hospital to get him fixer up. Just then, Koga gets a call telling him that his brother, Narushima Jakob, has joined BANS Army. When questioning how strong he is, Koga answers that he could never compare to his might.

Episode 12

Welcomes back Ranec and participates on the rumble to become a contender to lead The Final Resistance.

Episode 13

The resistance makes their way around Coolsville.

Episode 14

Arriving to Coolsville Arena, tries to cheer up Koga after he was insulted by Bevi.

Episode 15

Tries to win the royal rumble and drinks Corona with everyone.

Episode 16

The Resistance moves inside the Cosmic Egg.

Episode 17[edit | edit source]

When Koga remembers he lost the title thanks to Bevi, he gets furious. Gene tries to calm him down and says he will prove Rance he's not the jobbiest by beating Johnny Gat. That didn't go well.

At the end of Suou Tatsuya's struggle, Koga's wish is that his familia will still be together, and Gene responds that they'll be with him to the end. The entire J.O.B Squad cheers.

TFR/Season 0[edit | edit source]

A cocky youth who lost an arm in a fight but was granted the power of the "Jobhand". Would probably be more successful one-armed.

Episode 2

After losing the royal rumble, him and fellow jobbers felt that their only chance was to team up together, and they formed The J.O.B Squad.

To their dismay, they were put against the most fearsome entity in tag matches: clowns. Despite all the chances to job, the circus more funny side got the better of them, and they merely got clowned in a Count-Out fashion, sparing them from total loss.

Episode 3

Somehow, with the odds stacked against them, and with the power of the Job Hand, Gene carried The J.O.B Squad to win the tag-team titles for the first time on their career.

Episode 4

Dabs on Zoomer and his friend.

Episode 5

However, the clowns didn't take it lightly, they prepared for revenge even welcoming a big guy to their group, and despite Geralt making it a 2v1, Hisoka used his rubber nen to refuse to die until he destroyed the opponents, ensuring their title shot remains.

Episode 6

Lost the title so back to being jobbers.

Episode 9[edit | edit source]

Participated in a clusterfuck of a tables match, even presenting the clusterfuck to the audience.

Episode 12

Participates in the Beat The Clock challenge, and is the loser of the 5th fastest match.

When Gene was going to pin Rance for around ~02:40 time, No One ran in and distracted him, giving Rance time to recover, screwing both jobbers.

Episode 14

Gets challenged by someone even jobbier than him and surprisingly wins.

Season 7[edit | edit source]

He's busy using the jobhand.

TFR/Off-Season 8[edit | edit source]

Episode 29

Not only gets to challenge Kiryu for the Literal Jobber title, but as special stipulation, whoever doesn't have the title at the end of their match will be unable to continue calling their move "Dragon Kick".

Episode 31[edit | edit source]

And with the power of his jobgodhand, he takes away both Kiryu's belt and Dragon Kick.

Episode 33

Yet his godhand can't compare with a fist from the big apple, and drops the title.

TFR/Season 8[edit | edit source]

When Bolo Reynolds was about to be sacked, Gene, understanding where he's coming from as another no-good punk who was given a deux-ex-machina to turn his life around by a sudden providence, took his side. This just resulted in both Bolo and Gene being thrown out and blacklisted from the industry.

They decided, that if the industry no longer wanted them, considered discarded, blacklisted trash with nothing left to lose... then a Blacklisted Brotherhood would be born to be their new locker room.

Episode 1

Finding that Ja/ck/'s Dinner, the brotherhood decides that if he's not willing to cough up some cash, then he'll be giving them some provisions instead.
Kyle! I need your help, man! Someone is brutalizing my restaurant. It's a dangerous gangster! Can you come over, fast?!
Arriving to his help, Kyle Hyde initially thinks Ja/ck/ is being targeted by Mafia City, but it's instead the Blacklist Brotherhood, and the man attacking is Gene. Kyle couldn't believe it at first, but after being discarded by the industry, Gene says there's nothing left but stick to what you know and repay those who extend their hand. Kyle remarks that for "sticking to what he knows", he isn't seeing him getting pinned on the floor, which makes Gene happy since now he gets to kick "that asshole that cost a bunch of people their jobs" and his ass into the milky way. Surprisingly, Gene actually beats Kyle's ass, and for that makes a true promise to make his friend's life a living hell:
The two of you will never know peace again, as long as we rule over this place. All of us... We'll take turns beating you up and taking everything you have...
Kyle can't help but smile after that beatdown and say he can't wait to meet his friends, but Gene assures he'll regret saying that once they're done, and leaves.

Episode 2

On the next attack to Ja/ck/'s, Bolo goes to rob that nerd of more foodstuff, but Kyle shows up again makes him pay again...

Kyle gives it his all to not lose, but Bolo's might is simply too much. Ja/ck/'s finely-aged chicken, beef and cheddar are theirs for the taking. As a family, Bolo didn't just come because he wanted to cave his head in himself, but he came with backup from the B. Brotherhood as well. Kyle gets up and remarks people like them love to cheat, but Gene appears to remind him to watch his mouth; as a man of his word, he'll keep coming back again, and again, and again, and again, because he needs to further and constantly torture Kyle about how at fault he is... how alone he truly is; with a punch to the gut, he reminds him how many lives he derailed, how nobody will stand with a loser who ruined everything, and how his "Mystery Masters" are all gone now. If one thing he thanks him for, is that the Blacklist Brotherhood would've never gotten so strong if not for the sheer anger, disappointment and frustration he made them channel into it, and then they leave to play poker.

Episode 4

Bolo and Gene are at it again, wondering why their 'personal little bitch' keeps coming back, but Kyle says they wouldn't understand what having a backbone is in a million years. They both agree that's one more thing to break out of him if he's really intent of taking them 2-on-1, but just then Narushima Koga arrives seeking to enter the 'restaurant only wrestlers are allowed in' that his master mentioned. He's disappointed when Gene says it's closed, but Kyle tells him they're just thugs shacking down the owner, Koga decides to join Kyle since he knows how those TikTok 2-on-1 fight videos go and to demonstrate his Coldsteel Style further. Gene and Bolo stay on top a second time. Next time, they're gonna bring even more of the gang to have more fun, and the big guy that's coming won't let anyone bail him out.

In G1 Nonstop Infinite Climax[edit | edit source]

Feats[edit | edit source]

  • Probably being the biggest jobber in TFR rivaled only by the likes of gods of jobbing like the maxerino.
  • His fight against Balthios lasted longer than the final boss ending cutscenes from MGS 4... holy shit.
