Francis York Morgan is the main character of Deadly Premonition/Red Seeds Profile.

Please, Call Me York[edit | edit source]

York is an extremely successful FBI criminal profiler who has solved some of the most puzzling cases out there. He invariably insists for everyone to call him York, as everyone does.

He talks to "Zach", who helps him solve cases and offers information from within his head.

TFR/Season 7[edit | edit source]

York hears of the mysteries going on at Bogdanoff Championship Wrestling and goes to investigate.

Episode 1

To start, he drives in using a vehicle he bought from the previous owner.

He tries to fight and then discuss with a fellow investigator about the state of the surroundings, but he suddenly leaves in the middle of the match.

Episode 2

Someone called "Emperor" claims the car belongs to him and wins, going away with it.

Episode 3[edit | edit source]

As he leaves, York ponders, and notes a few inconsistencies there:

  1. The car's identification and papers claim it is a "LAN EVO", circa the late 1990s. "LAN EVO" don't have removable tops & The LAN EVO wasn't exported out of Japan until 2005 and the Evolution VIII. Yet the papers in the glove box claim this vehicle was manufactured in the late 90s.
  2. This "Emperor" is a respected street racer from Japan, who "rules the mountain", whatever that means. This "Emperor" clearly isn't Japanese. He has a Mexican accent and regularly speaks Spanish.

Episode 4[edit | edit source]

York interrogates Takahashi Ryosuke and finds the following about "Emperor":

  1. His real name is Sudo Kyoichi, the team he races with is "Emperor". Odd that his name is "Sudo Kyoichi", considering his Spanish accent.
  2. "Simulation X" is his "special racing technique". Strange of him to have such a technique while also having a crippling inability to turn right.

Episode 5

He investigates the "capo" of the group that sold "Emperor" his car. He refuses any information and as he's instructed to leave, Charles approaches him hearing his name as "Frank". York decides to cooperate in case he may know anything useful.

Episode 6

He tries to buy some "premium" coffee beans from Sneed's Feed & Seed (Formerly Chuck's) when Charles mentions he knows Sneed as one of the bastards that kicked him from Mafia City. Chuck becomes enraged at the idea of his friend becoming a damn city slicker and leaves.

Episode 7

He fights Charles to try and get into the tournament for more info, but loses.

Episode 8

Charles is busy partying, so York investigates by himself and Zach.

Apparently "Emperor" knows some japanese, as if he had family over there. He then notices Emperor's "Lan Evo" parked backstage and finds his original driver's license.

York confronts Emperor about this, which enrages him and makes him attack him. Emperor knocks York out.

TFR/Off-Season 8[edit | edit source]

Episode 55

Participates in the Bad to the Bone Tournament.

The Extinct Light[edit | edit source]

It seems we're going to Amakusa Elite Wrestling, Zach.

Episode 6

York investigates the crime scene with Zack, searching for the evidence he needs, and even thinks they've might have figured out the modus operandi. Quite reminiscent of 80s' slayer films actually, a pretty brutal scene, but what could have prompted it? Big Pussy was not known to make such kinds of enemies, seems unlikely to be a crime of passion.

Manny Pardo also arrives to investigate, but he has a simple theory: some idiot looking for his 15 minutes, or as he likes to call him, the Coolsville Cutthroat. Except, the victim's throat was not slashed as York points out, but the point is that he's dangerous and must be stopped. Some teenage boy talked to Pardo the other day, was going at night by himself, all ignorant of the danger lurking. The clueless civilians, they must be protected, at least on that they can agree on, and it's why York and Zach work tirelessly to solve this crime wave. And just then, an idea comes to York...

Episode 7

The latest case sure is something else, don't you think, Zach? Only a true professional could have killed people in such a way, but York is sure he's on the right track. While driving back to Coolsville in the rain from clearing things up with that review at HQ, he considers about how the culprit must be used to killing, narrowing the suspect list, and he even might have a good idea of who it is.

But before he can rest easy, he thinks... AEW really hit the nail with that "Water" match last week, very innovative to say the least, storytelling was phenomenal, when that shark appeared and the mom yelled for everybody in the ring, you could feel the dread! And it even had callbacks to excellent movies such as "Jaws", 1975, directed by Steven Spielberg. But sadly not everyone could grasp its intricacies, like this comment that reads "L O L, how can you call this wrestling? They aren't even trying to make something watchable!". While doing his duty in taking his time to educate this gentleman, something approaches in the distance through the rai-CRASH (then probably has a dream where an old man tells a kid about the current situation in Coolsville)

TFR/Season 8[edit | edit source]

Nobody has seen "York" since his last meeting with Pardo in the crime scene, but some rumors exist of someone being involved in a crash in the rain and disappearing...
