Cope Island Gun

Also known as Seether's Pistol. A rumor originating from the end of the second off-season.

Description[edit | edit source]

The gun originates from the story of a masked man living in a far off island, who, pushed over the edge, somehow acquired the gun in question. He then proceeded to massacre everyone on the entire island, as no matter how much they tried, nobody could stop or slow the wounds inflicted by the gun, and a single bullet was enough for each one to receive certain death. In the end, the gun robbed him of everything, even the ability to kill himself with it.

While this is the rumored story passed down in the present, however, it is said events similar in structure to the story have repeated themselves several times through history. The story's origin are unknown, but it has been passed down for a long time.

History[edit | edit source]

TFR/Season 2[edit | edit source]

Known as "The Cope Island Massacre", the culprit was a troubled man known as OP living in a far off land in what could have potentially been another timeline, who got pushed over the edge because of constant humiliation and abuse from the other occupants in his apartment complex. After blocking off all the exits out of the Apartment Block he then began knocking on occupants doors and shooting anyone who opens their door, which worked until the second floor became aware of the situation and attempted to barricade themselves in, which did nothing to stop the crazed gunman as the shooter found a way into the barricaded apartments through the balcony doors. The shooter successfully managed to kill everyone in his apartment complex and then went outside to deal with any of the stragglers who were outside at the time of the shooting or managed to escape during the chaos, in a few hours he managed to massacre everyone on the entire island. The spree killer attempted to kill himself after the massacre but was found unable to point the gun at himself, leaving him to live out his own self-imposed isolation as the only resident of the island.

While it is not known how he obtained the gun, some say it might just have manifested when he cleared the conditions of the legend.

TFR/Season 6[edit | edit source]

Nyarlathotep takes the gun, a recipient of a truly strong rumor, and shoots Power with it, and the effect of it is powerful enough to even deny her blood fiend powers from working.
