Blade Championship Wrestling is part of WWE 2K's story mode universe. In TFR, it's known as Bogdanoff Championship Wrestling.

In Season 1, BCW is mentioned as part of the antagonists' plan. It is also featured in the Extra OVA of Season 4.

In Season 7 it takes a bigger role instead, where it is the counterpart of the dual streams by TFR staff, having its own roster and streaming on different days (before the rating wars increased and both streams were simultaneous).

Description[edit | edit source]

The BCW (Bogdanoff Championship Wrestling) brand is owned and managed by The Bogdanoff Twins, and plays the role of one of The Final Rumble's main competitors.

They employ different subversive methods trying to overcome TFR and rule the world of wrestling (and eventually, the world itself) such as infiltration, attacks on the roster, impersonation and even mind-control.

They operate directly from Paris in their homeland of France, but have more than a dozen of BCW Arenas set up over Coolsville.

History[edit | edit source]

Circa 1982, The Bogdanoff Family, as powerful as they were, seek to insert into the market of wrestling. It was at this time that the first Bogdanoff sponsored wrestling promotion was said to be founded. However, due the Bogs' failure to understand human emotions, it wasn't very appealing to the current masses.

They left wrestling until they decided to try again in 2004; reports are conflicting as it is known they either bought Blade Championship Wrestling and kept it's former owner as a puppet, or created Bogdanoff Championship Wrestling but to hide their identities appointed Barron Blade as GM and owner. The promotion saw low success, and they began to get impatient, as Barron Couldn't get any publicity until 'Buzz' joined (and to a lesser extent, Cole Quinn). Buzz began pushing sales, and this pleased the Bogs, who spared Barron's life. However, as Buzz's career grew, he started getting requested by bigger promotions, and eventually offered a contract from WWE. With Barron Blade feeling the knife close to his neck, he attacked Fred wearing a mask and posing as a fan, which cut his contract ensuring he would stay in BCW.

However, as pleased as the Bogs were, they influenced Buzz and Quinn telepathically to invade WWE and attack them for this. Barron, scared of what Triple H could do, tried to talk them out of it, with no avail. However, when Triple H got fed up, he revealed Barron's lies, making Jones and Quinn forfeit their contracts. This made the Bogs furious, who severely punished Barron. He kept trying to get Quinn back, but he never agreed and BCW was dead in the water for a while.

TFR/Season 1[edit | edit source]

With both the surge of TFR and the war for the case of sperm, The Bogdanoffs took full control of BCW and forged a plan that would both get them the case and conquer TFR, allowing them to become the greatest wrestling promotion on the planet, and enact CRAB-17. However, their plans were thwarted by Chris Redfield and Leon Kennedy being united thanks to Chris's Therapist, with help from none other than Fred 'Buzz' Jones.

With their defeat, they were banished so that they could never threaten Coolsville or wrestling ever again.

BCW still existed, but could hardly be considered a competitor to TFR anymore, drawing less dimes than a Marko Stunt vs Adam Cole match.

TFR/Season 4 & Season 5[edit | edit source]

Many, many abandoned BCW arenas lay all over Coolsville, being used unlawfully by outlaw mudshows or whenever two nearby strangers have something to solve.

TFR/Season 6[edit | edit source]

With the likely fatal disappearance of the Bogs after Rumble-17 and the surge of the mysterious Three Kings, BCW has ceased to exist entirely.

TFR/Season 0[edit | edit source]

Bogdanoff Industries strike a deal with the Shimano Family for them to support them when they begin their wrestling business. Seeing as how Shimano probably died before BCW went into production, it's unknown if they profited from the deal at all.

The Darkweb Rumble[edit | edit source]

Formerly a small fed owned by Okonogi Tetsurou, TDKR (The Darkweb Rumble) was acquired and expanded by The Bogdanoffs and renamed into BCW. However, much of the large TDKR roster didn't make it

TFR/Season 7[edit | edit source]

They would end becoming the main competitor to The Final Rumble.

Initially they hosted their show in France, but when they started interacting with TFR, they employed some of their Coolsville arenas at times.
BCW fans' reaction

They ended closing down when it's owners were arrested at the end of the tournament to determine which company would have to close shop. BCW arenas around Coolsville now remain abandoned.

The Extinct Light[edit | edit source]

The outlaw OMW brand has started to employ the abandoned arenas in some of their bigger shows.
