    The Final Rumble Wiki

You ever wonder why your favorite characters always lose? This motherfucker is why. His brain cells make him take 50 years just to reach someone being pinned, and he'll often get his ass handed to him through sheer retard energy. Even Sminem has punched this motherfucker, but hey, at least he isn't the White Ref.

Not The Worst Referee[edit | edit source]

    An official Referee,

    TFR/Season 1[edit | edit source]

Black Ref has been there since the early days along with White Ref (who was the first of TFR's hired referees before Black Ref was more popular).

    TFR/Season 2[edit | edit source]

Got scared shitless when Todd Howard appeared behind Leon S. Kennedy.

Currently he is nowhere to be seen (except in some non-canon matches on rare occasions), having vanished when Todd ate the fruit from Demon Tree Qliphoth which allowed the Howard Reality to finally start encroaching into TFR properly. Currently White Ref has taken his place as the main referee, who sadly lacks the ghetto charm Black Ref emanates... as the saying goes "The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence".

    TFR/Season 3[edit | edit source]

After the Howard defeat, our n i g g a is back and so are the hate crimes against him.

    Episode 1[edit | edit source]

The Dimensional Merge has made him return to his past, and instead he's looking more like his father, Black Ref, Sr.

    Episode 2[edit | edit source]

After being punched by Vorgil and being mocked by his fellow White Ref, Black ref couldn't take it anymore, and coincidentally, the Dimensional Merge has taken him to his best years. Black Ref took this opportunity to challenge White Ref to a duel and have Vorgil referee to determine who the best ref is once and for all. Sadly Vorgil decided to join too. In the end, Black Ref got the neck damage that was the reason he retired in the first place this way. Funny how timelines work huh?

    Episode 3

Since Vorgin beat him, he gets to be referee for a while.

    TCR/Season 1[edit | edit source]

As it turns out, Black Ref has many, many family members that look exactly like him. Might be a hivemind too.

Black Ref or one of him is also the referee of many of TCR's matches and usually does the same shit that TFR's Black Ref does. Due to the more lax rules on how the ref should be treated in TCR, he is frequently getting beaten by the wrestlers during/after a match which has resulted in many riots and human rights protests in multiple cities around America.

    TFR/Season 4[edit | edit source]

Kojima intends to trap him in The Final Impact for being black and since White Ref is more loyal.

    TCR/Season 2[edit | edit source]

    "1 2 3 4"

    Extra Episode 2

A spirited version of Black Ref that emerged on the 31 of October, the most spiritual of days, to avenge the misdeeds done to him in the Marcellus versus Lazarus match long ago.

However, he is defeated by Luka.

    TFR/Season 5[edit | edit source]

One of his hood brothers is trapped in the Death Game.

    TCR/Season 3[edit | edit source]

TCR's ref is all back to normal now.

Ref watching over a game of chess between Maebara Keiichi and Albert Wesker, while trying to learn about logic.

    TFR/Season 6[edit | edit source]

After the incident, he tried to become smarter by learning about 「LOGIC」.

Also referee'd over a chess match.

    TFR/Season 0[edit | edit source]

Became good friends with Amami Rantaro.

The Darkweb Rumble[edit | edit source]

    Gets hit a bunch because.

    Trivia[edit | edit source]

    • Possibly, according to the Chosen Hunter vs Joshua Graham fight, he may not even have a true home and just lives in the shadows of the ring.
    • We miss you Black Ref... Please come back
      • We missed you, welcome back bro
    • Black Ref is the most prominent TFR ref along with White Ref, however there are other referees who have appeared in TFR. The first is Asian Ref sporadically when neither of the former 2 are available (he's also the main Ref of G1), then Mexican Ref on Season 2 during matches in mexico, finally Fat Ref during the time merge, and Vorgin also has been a guest referee voluntarily.
    • There has been strange events where there have been multiple clones of the referee's sent to intervene during more tense situations which may have deeper implications on what it is like to be a referee for TFR (except constantly getting the shit beaten out of them when they get in the way of the wrestlers, that's a well known fact)
